In Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, NB, more than 20 free-standing rocks known as “Sea Stacks” have been shaped by thousands of years of tides.
For American Cocker Spaniels Ruslan and Kelly, the two km of shoreline was everything. “It’s a beautiful place, it’s dog-friendly, and there are lots of great smells when the tide is out,” says Animal Care Expert and Devoted Pet Lover Marg McIlree who visited from Ottawa. While there, you can walk on trails, or descend ramps and staircases to the ocean floor while the tide is out.
Expert Tip
Marg says thinking ahead is critical when travelling with pets. “Think about how you are going to deal with anxiety, or even boredom on long car rides,” she advises. When it comes time to eat, travel bowls with lids are products she won’t leave home without.
