Shipping & Returns

Everything you need to know

Pet Valu (including Bosley’s By Pet Valu) ships Monday – Friday (excluding statutory holidays) to all provinces except Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon and with exceptions to some additional postal codes. Orders received by 10:30 AM local time are in most shipped the day they are received (subject to daily order volume and warehouse availability). Orders made online after Friday at 10:30 AM local time will ship the following Monday. However, please allow up to 2 business days for processing of orders. Pet Valu will happily ship to your home and/or office, but are not able to ship to addresses that include PO Boxes.

Pet Valu is still operating and values the opportunity to fulfill your household pet needs. Due to the effects of COVID-19, our customer service response times may be slower, and deliveries may be delayed.

Free Shipping over $49

Qualifying orders that are $49 or more at the subtotal level after coupons have been applied and prior to any applicable taxes ship via standard ground delivery for free. This is automatically applied to your order. All orders under $49 ship for a flat rate $4.99 ground shipping. Restrictions apply and will be noted during checkout.

Express Shipping Options

Express shipping is available in select regions with FedEx 2Day® delivery for $22.99. Orders must be submitted by 10:30AM local time Monday through Thursday. Weekend deliveries are not available. We do not currently offer FedEx 2Day® express shipping to the Maritimes or select rural locations.

Returns

FREE Easy Returns

If you are not satisfied with your in-store or online purchase, we will happily offer a refund. For unopened products, returned in their original packaging with a receipt within 60 days of purchase, refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. Products returned opened or without a receipt can be exchanged or refunded for a store gift card.

FREE Returns to Store

Both in-store and online purchases can be returned to your local store for a refund. To process your return in store, please bring along the following:

  • Debit/credit card used to make the purchase

  • In-store receipt or shipping confirmation email

If you made your purchase online and do not have a store close by, please call Customer Care at 1-800-PET-VALU (1-800-738-8258) to arrange your return. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless an error was caused by Pet Valu. Any merchandise that is in used condition and/or returned without the original packaging may be refused. Goods returned opened or without a receipt can be exchanged or refunded for a store gift card. If a gift card was used as partial payment, that returned amount will be placed on a new store gift card before the remaining refund is applied. Additionally, if a customer makes frequent returns of the same item(s) repeatedly and/or returns in bulk often, these returns may be refused at our sole discretion. There are some exceptions to our policy regarding returns and refunds. These include clearance items and animals.
