Pigeon Lake is a three-hour drive up Highway 407 from Amber Elley’s home in Burlington, ON.
It’s a cherished vacation spot for her and St. Bernard/Cane Corso mix, Kano. Surrounded by walking trails, Amber and Kano like to head out for morning hikes before spending the afternoon at the dock, where Kano can get in and out of the water with ease on his 50-ft. nylon tie out. “We rent a fishing boat for the boyfriend to fish and mom and pup to sit and read the day away,” says Amber.
