Everything about Cruise says adventure. For this seven-year-old Boxer-Bernese/Mountain-Rottweiler mix, a favourite pastime is camping with his Animal Care Expert and Devoted Pet Lover, Haley Keiver, at Premier Lake Park.
Located 72 km north of Cranbrook, BC, the park has become Cruise’s stomping grounds where he swims, runs trails, and even ventures out on fishing trips. The park boasts 57 vehicle and tent camp sites which Cruise loves — because when he’s in the trailer, he’s allowed to sleep on the bed.
Expert Tip
Training is everything when it comes to camping with your dog. Haley recommends introducing travel early in a pup’s life so they get used to the sights, sounds, and smells at a young age. Pro tip: Treats go a long way when training outdoors.
