Even a small road trip with dogs can involve some pretty big firsts.
For Abby and Rosco, a short drive to Buntzen Lake (12 km north of their home in Coquitlam, BC) meant an exciting three-hour hike to the lake’s north end, where Animal Care Expert and Devoted Pet Lover Sam Deleeuw rewarded the two Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier crosses with their first swim. However, “they were not impressed with the idea of swimming,” says Sam, who knows that being a pet parent is all about compromise. “We sat and had lunch instead.”
