Companions for Change Grants
The Companions for Change Grants Program was started in 2018 with the purpose of partnering and aiding pet charities and rescues with projects designed to improve the health and well-being of pets and pet parents. Since the program’s inception the Grant Program has partnered and provided over $600,000 in grant funding!
Application Information
Grant applications for 2021 are now closed. Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2021. Non-profits, registered rescues, shelters, or pet-related charities are encouraged to check back and apply in 2022!
How We Help
We support programs involved in:
- Adoption and Pet Population Management
- Improving access to necessary care for pets and their families in remote or underserved communities
- Animal-Assisted Therapy programs (i.e., guide dogs, therapy dogs and other)
- Animal Education Programming
Application Details
Successful candidates will:
- Be a registered charity or not-for-profit organization
- Be based in Canada
- Be companion-pet oriented
- Have a community focused charitable mandate
- Share our corporate philosophies on animal well-being and the human-animal bond
