Local shops and eateries are extra hospitable to four-legged guests. Famous for fossils and hoodoos, the region boasts pet-friendly spots like Valley Brewing, Black Mountain Roasters, and even a dog-friendly salon. Lots of accommodations allow pets, too. “We have an adorable little Airbnb down the street from us called Tyrannosaurus Rest,” says Keshia, who supplies the owner with treats for canine guests.
