Active Ingredients:

S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe): SAMe is the bioactive form of methionine, an essential amino acid nutrient found abundantly in food. SAMe is used in the body for many important metabolic functions. In pets with a compromised liver, production of SAMe is decreased. SAMe is a commonly used supplement to treat liver disease in pets as it is essential to the production of glutathione, an intracellular antioxidant.

Silybin: The most bioactive and bio-available form of Milk Thistle which is a potent antioxidant. Silybin helps to increase Glutathione levels, which acts as intracellular antioxidant, and increase Superoxide Dismutase, which is an enzyme that helps break down free radicals.

Phosphatidylcholine: A molecule which helps silybin, which is water soluble, become lipid (fat) soluble so it can cross the liver cell membrane. Helps to repair and replace liver cell membranes.
