Product Description

Red Dog Blue Kat Foundations Bison 4 Pack Adult Dog Food is made from human grade, non-medicated North America Buffalo (aka bison) meat, bison organs and organic vegetables. No additives, preservatives or fillers. A great meal for weight loss, dogs with food sensitivities, and a way to add some fun variety to any raw diet rotation. No additives, preservatives or fillers. Bison is a super addition to any raw diet. It's packed with protein and beats out many other meats in iron and trace mineral content. Iron is a major component of blood and helps cells to circulate oxygen throughout the body. It is pasture-raised containing a high number of omega 3 fatty acids making it a heart-protective food. It also has one of the highest vitamin B12 profiles of any red meat. Bison is also a perfect alternative for those animals with food sensitivities that are unable to eat domestic red meats like beef and lamb. It's low fat content makes it suitable for pets who need to lose weight or have fat sensitivities.

Feeding Instructions

This is a starting point, to be adjusted as needed to maintain optimum weight and peak conditioning. For best results, it is recommend to feed red meat meals in rotation of red meat, poultry and fish, and adding fresh wild salmon or cod liver oil before serving.

  • Puppy: 6 - 10% of body weight
  • Adult Dog: 2 - 5% of body ideal weight
  • Senior: 2 - 3% of ideal body weight

Keep product frozen until ready to use. Defrost package in a leak-proof container (reduces the risk of cross contamination!) and leave in the refrigerator for 24 hours, or until soft through. It is recommend to serve in a stainless steel bowl as it is easier to clean, and does not have surface pores that may collect bacteria. Partially eaten food should be put back into the refrigerator after 20 minutes. Wash hands, utensils and all contact surfaces with soap and hot water.

Poultry should not be kept longer than 2 days.
Red meats & fish should not be kept longer than 3 days.
