Use:

• Requires 2 AA Batteries (not included). To load or replace the battery when needed, twist open the base of the toy. Insert the new batteries, paying attention to the (+) and (-) directions required. Twist the base of the toy back on until secure.
• Attach the feather teaser by twisting it onto the base clockwise, until secure. Add catnip (if desired) to the catnip compartment located on the bottom piece of the base - directions below. Place toy on a flat floor surface for your cat, turn it on, and watch the fun begin! For best results, use on a smooth or hard surface.
• Catnip Compartment: Located in the bottom of the toy base. Twist open the base of the toy - the catnip compartment is in the bottom of the base piece without the batteries. Remove circular cap from bottom of base piece. Add catnip inside the circular cap. Hold the base piece so you are looking up into it from the bottom, and put the circular cap filled with catnip back into place. Twist the base of the toy back on until secure.
