Use:

Lightly dust your pet's coat with the powder, covering areas where fleas and ticks are likely to hide, such as the neck, back, and tail. Diatomaceous earth can also be applied to pet bedding, carpets, and other areas where fleas and ticks might be present. Leave the powder in place for some time before vacuuming it up.
