Just like you, your puppy or dog is a unique individual and their feeding requirements will vary with breed, environment, age and activity. That's why it's suggested you use the feeding guide as a starting point, and monitor your puppy or dog's weight and adjust amounts as needed. It is also recommended to feed your pet twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.
When switching diets, it's important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for their digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.
Serve dry or lightly moistened. See your veterinarian regularly. To help maintain freshness, it's recommended you seal the bag tightly and store it in a cool, dry location.
