The Don't You Want Me Project is a social impact photography project dedicated to showcasing the beauty and resilience of LGBTQ+ people, and the transformative impact their rescue dogs have on them. The unconditional love and bond between pet and pet lover is truly something special, and we're proud to be partnering with the Don't You Want Me Project to share some of these stories.
Like the Don't You Want Me Project, Pet Valu believes when rescue pets find the right home it's often difficult to tell who has rescued who. Watch individuals from the Don't You Want Me Project share their stories about how their rescue dogs transformed their lives.
Through our Giving Back Program, we support a range of pet-related organizations across Canada.

Until June 26, Pet Valu is raising funds and collecting product donations for local pets in need. Each of the 600+ stores in the Pet Valu family are supporting animal rescues or charities in their communities, with 100% of donations stay in the local community. So far we’ve raised over $500,000 in donations to give back to local pets in need.
