Can I order Pet Valu products through Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash? Yes! You can shop your favourite Pet Valu family of stores through any of these delivery partners:
Instacart: Visit the Instacart website or use the Instacart app.
Uber Eats: Visit the Uber Eats website or use the Uber Eats app.
DoorDash: Visit the DoorDash website or use the DoorDash app.
Simply search for your local store, add your pet’s essentials to your cart, and have them delivered right to your door — often within the hour!
Is delivery available from my local Pet Valu store? Delivery is available from select stores only. To check availability:
On Instacart, enter your postal code to see if your store offers delivery.
On Uber Eats or DoorDash, search for Pet Valu, Paulmac’s, Bosley’s, Tisol, or Total Pet near you.
What products can I order for delivery? Most everyday essentials are available — including pet food, treats, toys, and accessories. Product selection and pricing may vary between apps and locations.
Are live animals or frozen/refrigerated items available for delivery? Live animals are not available for delivery. However, temperature-controlled items such as refrigerated or frozen pet food may be available depending on your local store and delivery partner.
How Delivery Works
How does delivery through these partners work?
Open your preferred app — Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash.
Choose your local Pet Valu, Paulmac’s, Bosley’s, Tisol, or Total Pet store.
Add items to your cart and check out through the app or website.
A personal shopper will visit the store, securely pay, and deliver your order to your door.
Delivery timelines:
Instacart: Same-day or scheduled delivery options available.
Uber Eats & DoorDash: On-demand, typically within 30–60 minutes.
Who delivers my order? Your order is picked and delivered by independent shoppers from each platform (not Pet Valu staff).
Can I schedule my delivery for a specific time?
Instacart: You can choose a specific delivery window at checkout.
Uber Eats & DoorDash: Usually on-demand, but some locations may offer scheduling.
Can I track my order? Yes! You can track your shopper’s progress in real time through the Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash app for updates.
Pricing, Payments & Promotions
Are prices the same as in-store?
Prices on Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash may differ slightly from in-store prices due to delivery platform fees, service charges, and personal shopping costs. Sale pricing in stores or on petvalu.ca may not be reflected on these platforms.
Why are items on Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash priced higher than in-store and on petvalu.ca? Prices are higher than your local Pet Valu, Bosley’s, Tisol, Total Pet, and Paulmac’s, and online at petvalu.ca, to cover the cost of personal shopping. Prices and availability may change without notice.
Can I use Pet Valu gift cards, coupons, or in-store promotions? No. Pet Valu gift cards, coupons, and in-store promotions cannot be applied to orders placed through Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash.
Can I use promo codes? Yes! You can use any valid Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash promo codes directly within their respective apps.
Do I pay a delivery fee? Yes, delivery/service fees vary by partner and are shown at checkout in each app for Instacart, Uber Eats & DoorDash.
Can I tip my delivery person? Absolutely! Tipping your driver is optional but appreciated and can be added during checkout or after delivery in the app. Tips are not shared with Pet Valu.
Rewards & Returns
Do purchases made through these partners count toward my Pet Valu rewards? Yes! Eligible purchases made through Instacart, Uber Eats or DoorDash count toward your Your Rewards and Free Bag programs. To earn credit, you must link your Your Rewards Account at the time of checkout in the delivery partner’s app. Please note:
Rewards and Free Bag credits may take up to 14 days to appear in your account after purchase.
Purchases are applied based on eligible items only.
Can I return or exchange items purchased through these delivery services? If you have a problem with your delivery, please contact the delivery partner directly:

For returns or exchanges:
Returns must be initiated through the app used to place the order.
You’ll receive a digital barcode and a paper receipt for verification.
Bring your digital barcode, as well as your paper receipt and product in its original condition to a participating Pet Valu, Paulmac’s, Bosley’s, Tisol, or Total Pet location within 60 days.
Refunds are processed at the in-store price at the time of return, not the price paid in the app.

Instacart, Uber Eats & DoorDash: Available now at participating stores across Canada, with more stores added regularly.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Instacart: Within your selected delivery window (same-day or scheduled).
Uber Eats & DoorDash: Typically within 30–60 minutes, depending on location, time of day, and shopper availability.
Can I place a delivery order outside regular store hours? No. Delivery is only available during regular store operating hours. Each app automatically adjusts availability to match your local store’s hours.
Can I track my order? Yes — orders can be tracked in real time through the Instacart, Uber Eats, or DoorDash app for delivery updates.

What if an item is missing, damaged, or incorrect? Please report any missing, incorrect, or damaged items directly through the app you ordered from:
